Jessi Welsh is originally
from West Mifflin, PA. She began her involvement in missions on a trip
to Mexico when she was thirteen. Her involvement with YWAM began shortly
after with a summer trip as a part of Joshua Generation taking trips to
various places in the US, Hungary, Romania, and Brazil. She also began
leading worship at the young age of 14 and since it has become one of
her biggest passions.
Upon graduating high school in 2002 she attended DTS in Salem, Oregon.
Her outreach took her to India, South Korea, and Thailand. She then
returned back to the Pittsburgh area to join YWAM staff. She served
there as worship leader, performing arts director, Joshua Generation
staff, DTS staff, member of the GO Team, and served on the leadership
council. She has been a missionary in 17 nations.
Moving to Boston to be a part of building the Kingdom of God has been a
dream in her heart since her first visit to the city in 2003. She looks
forward to joining along side the body of Christ in training and
ministry, and using her talents in the arts to bring people to Jesus.
