Igniting Passion in New England and Beyond

Each generation has the responsibility and the privilege of responding to Christ's Great Commission to "GO" and bring the gospel to the nations in their generation.

From its founding in 1630 Boston has been a city of historic significance. The founding fathers laid the foundations for this city to be a "Beacon" for His glory with a sense of destiny that believers here would influence our nations and The Nations.

Today, Boston is one of the most significant and strategic cities in the world.  With its 100+ colleges and universities, Boston is a place where the world gathers.  250,000 university students (44,000 internationals) are drawn to our institutions of higher learning.  The very people  we are called to GO and Reach have Come to us.

YWAM was founded as a mission in 1960 by Loren Cunningham with a call to "know God and make Him known."  YWAM Boston has embraced our purpose to reach out to the youth and students here in the city on their "turf," and to connect with them using culturally relevant language they can understand through the arts.

There is an amazing spiritual awakening happening in this city. Our desire is to be a part of what God is doing here to reach the those who do now know the Lord and make unmistakable, intentional followers of Jesus who will embrace their destiny to make Him known in all the earth.
