From March thirteenth until the seventeenth, we had the privilege of hosting a team from Lancaster, PA for four days. We trained them in evangelism, and even went on a few outreaches with them. Every day they learned new things about God and about themselves, learning how to share their faith and worshiping openly and freely. Each and every one of them were met by God, and had significant life changes. Evangelism became a natural thing, and talking to people about God in Dunkin' Donuts, local grocery stores, and walking down the street became the new normal for them. They saw healings and miracles, and nineteen people were brought into God's Kingdom through the overflow of what He was doing in this team.
We at YWAM Boston have been praying for God to send people to the nations through our ministry, and He's making that prayer our reality. With teams like the one from Lancaster, outreach is no longer a set event. It's becoming a way of life in our ministry, and everywhere we go we're sharing our faith and imparting the love of God to others.
On Tuesday, March eleventh, we got a call that a few YWAM Harrisburg Circuit Riders, Joel Bomberger, Yasmin Kahan-Groves, and Carissa Cleath were in the area, and they wanted to stay with us for a few nights. They ended up staying until Sunday, sharing their vision for partnering with us in awakening revival in college campuses, and seeing what God's doing through us in Boston and New England. More than anything, a deeper friendship was forged between us, and it was a definite answer to prayer to spend this short amount of time together. We have prayed for long-term, deep friendships, and it was an incredible encouragement to be reminded that we aren't in this alone; our friends in Harrisburg have our backs in all God has for us.
Last week, we passed both of the plumbing and electrical inspections, putting us even closer to getting into the building and using it for the glory of God. Praise Him!
Staff members Jay Jay Mabelin and Michael Sloan have been working on putting together music for the Ekballo tour, combining electronic music and vocals for an innovative new sound for worship. We're chasing the dream that God has put on our hearts as a ministry, using our unique talents to glorify the Kingdom of God.
On April twenty-sixth, Harrisburg will be at Harvard University, praying and worshipping. April twenty-eighth is Tremont Temple Church, with YWAM Boston and the Ekballo Tour. Find us on Twitter (@YWAMBoston), and use the hashtags #NERevival and #UnitedGospel to promote the Ekballo tour and to stay in touch with what's happening!
