JG is one of the most exciting youth outreaches in the nation. It challenges ordinary young people to step outside of their comfort zone and do extraordinary things for the kingdom of God. Unless a generation stands up now and engages the battle at hand, entire nations will be lost.

Joshua Generation is a 17 day discipleship and outreach experience. It begins with a 7-day intense boot camp training, and is followed by a 10-day outreach. Through music, drama, dance, and sports the Joshua Generation brings the light of Christ to the darkest places.

Each summer we take trips to different cities in the United States and to foreign mission fields. Since 1995, our adventures have taken us to Pittsburgh, NYC, Boston, Philadelphia, Detroit, Atlanta, Chicago, Detroit, Romania, Hungary, Brazil, Poland, Peru, Italy, and Ukraine.

How did it all begin?

Joshua Generation was created in 1994, in New Hampshire, as a means to train young people to share their faith with their generation. Doug and Deb started the first camp from NH in 1995. The specific goal for JG is to create within youth a vision for ministry and an avenue in which God can use them for a specific ministry. In 1999 JG had a new beginning in Pittsburgh while YWAM was being established there. Since the inception of JG, thousands of people have heard God’s word and responded to the call of Jesus Christ and hundreds of young people have been used mightily for the expansion of the Kingdom of God. In 2006 JG was expanded to Lima, Peru, and in 2007 to Boston. We are excited as Joshua Generation continues to expand to the nations with sights towards Mongolia and China.
