Hi! My name is Jessica Bastiaens, I’m 20 years old and I’m from Holland. In January 2009, I came to this side of the ocean to do my DTS in Boston. Just a couple months before that, I graduated high school. I grew up as a Christian and I always loved Jesus. I came to the point where I knew there was more to my faith, I just didn’t know how to get there. I got really excited to do my Creative Arts in Worship DTS, I was hoping to find more depth to my faith and find God on a more personal level. I had high expectations about my DTS and God took me even further than that! My relationship with Jesus became more and more personal, and I experienced hearing God’s voice for the first time.

I’m really excited to be here in Boston where God called me to be. I know God has amazing things in store for Boston and to think that God wants to use my team and me for that, amazes me. I love the creative aspect we put in our evangelism to reach out to people. I would like to see a change in Boston, that people who walk in will feel a difference. Matthew 5:15 says that when you have a light, you put in on a standard, not under a bowl. By working together and forming the unit that the body of Christ is, I would like to see a lot of lights here in Boston!
