John and Amanda Caton were married on October 3, 2009. John hails from rural Western Pennsylvania. In the fall of 2003 he enrolled in DTS at YWAM Pittsburgh, where he felt God calling him to be a missionary. After DTS John continued with YWAM Pittsburgh part time, staffing JG in the summers. At home he worked as a youth leader at his home church, and played saxophone on the worship team. John recently graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where he majored in Music Education and minored in Theater. He joined the team at YWAM Boston in 2007. John has a passion for seeing Christ's Kingdom advanced through the arts, and helping other believers realize their divine destiny and role in the Great Commission. Amanda Caton grew up in Nottingham, England. She gave her life to Jesus after attending an Alpha Course in 2005. She also graduated University in 2005 and has a Theater and English Degree. Her involvement with YWAM began when she attended the first Creative Arts in Worship DTS in Boston. Her outreach took her to Northern Ireland and Scotland in April and May 2008. Amanda serves as DTS staff, Theatre teaching assistant, Administration Staff and Joshua Generation staff. Amanda is passionate about seeing the lost come to Jesus, training and equipping believers to share Jesus with the world and performing and creating theatre productions that bring glory to God. She excited about all that God will do through the ministry in Boston. |
